Job Description
1)Interact with outside vendors to develop and implement ergonomic furniture and equipment standards and process from selection to deployment.�
2)Develop and implement an efficient system to manage ergonomic scheduling, evaluation, report generation, data extraction and equipment ordering.
3)Using principles of ergonomics to evaluate risk factors provide sound recommendations to reduce risks in both office and industrial settings.
4)Recommend and develop appropriate strategies to address company/ client ergonomic riscs.
5)Investigate and resolve issues, questions, or concerns received from within the company, among outside customers, regulatory agencies, etc.�
6)Identify hazardous workplace conditions and work with subject matter experts to recommend controls and/or personal protective equipment.�
7)Assume responsibility for developing/maintaining/advancing specific EHS program areas and supporting EHS needs for assigned buildings/organisations.�
8)Support emergency response activities as required.�

Occupational Therapy post in Allied Health Sciences, Kuwait University

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Kuwait University, has recently established a new department of Occupational Therapy and has vacancies for a Lecturers and a Senior Lecturer positions

Qualifications
Applicants MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a relevant Master’s degree. Lecturers MUST have a minimum of 10 years’ teaching experience since obtaining their Master’s degree and Senior Lecturers must have 15 years’ experience.

Salaries and benefits
The monthly salary for Lecturers, including basic salary (KD 730 – 842) and professional/technical allowances, is 1750 - 1862 Kuwaiti dinars per month. Senior Lecturers receive 2030 – 2142 Kuwaiti dinars per month (basic salary 830 - 942). In addition there is a cost of living allowance of KD 50 per month, a housing allowance of KD 300 per month (single) or KD 400 (married and accompanied male). There is also an end of service gratuity of half a month’s basic salary for the first five years of service and one month’s basic salary for each year of service thereafter. Other benefits include paid summer leave of approximately 12 weeks, paid 2 week mid-year break, furniture allowance of KD 2000, round trip air tickets, conference attended and medical insurance. Salaries and allowances are paid in Kuwaiti dinars. There is no income tax in Kuwait, and currency is transferable without restriction.

Reports to: Training Manager 

Location: Delhi/Ahmedabad, although the job will involve travel to projects on a regular basis. 
Salary: The starting salary for this post ranges between INR 20,000 to 25,000 per month.                  Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission to the 1st year of following courses for the academic session 2012-2013. Entrance test for admission will be conducted on 10th June-2012 (Sunday) at Delhi by University of Delhi.

PCBE for BOT and provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately.  The candidates appearing/appeared in the 10+2 examination may also apply.   However, it is subjected to their clearance of qualifying examination with required percentage of marks before declaration of result of entrance test.
The candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination before the year 2009-2010 and have discontinued their regular studies for more than 3 years are not eligible to appear in the entrance test.
